R - Open was a huge success

R - Open, Urdal 2013

This year R - Open was a great success. 61 artists in the region opened their studios for the public.

Rogaland Open is an artist-initiated project that started in 2010 in cooperation with Rogaland Art Centre (RCS), Visual Artists Association Rogaland (BKFR) and Norwegian Craftsmen Western Norway (NKVN).

R Open is a flexible and experimental arena that is engaging and challenging art events seek to strengthen the arts in Rogaland. Many other events open galleries, artist presentations and exhibitions, working with independent curators of public art.
